The Vision

Art in Motion

The Kinetic Distortion Tee is our most experimental graphic project. It takes our core Rewear logo and applies a digital ‘glitch’ or motion-blur effect. The concept was to capture the frenetic energy of the modern city?the blur of lights, the speed of information, and the constant state of flux we live in. It is a visual representation of a brand that refuses to stand still. Despite the complexity of the graphic, the monochromatic color palette keeps it sophisticated and wearable, ensuring it bridges the gap between digital art and high-street fashion.

The ‘Comfort-First’ Engineering

Because the Kinetic graphic is quite large, we had to ensure the shirt didn’t feel heavy or stiff. We used a ‘Soft-Touch’ jersey weave that has been enzyme-washed for 12 hours prior to construction. This breaks down the outermost fibers of the cotton, creating a suede-like finish that is incredibly gentle on the skin. The fit is ‘Modern Boxy’?shorter in length but wide in the chest?allowing the distorted graphic to lay flat and legible without being warped by the natural curves of the body.

Technical Details

High-Definition Screen Print: We used a 120-mesh screen to capture the micro-details of the ‘glitch’ effect, ensuring the fine lines are crisp and clear. Breathable Inks: We blended our pigments with a softening agent that allows air to pass through the print, preventing the ‘sweat patch’ effect common with large chest graphics. Reinforced Shoulders: A strip of internal tape is sewn into the shoulder seams to prevent the weight of the graphic from stretching the shirt out of shape over time.
