The Vision
Technical Drafting
The Blueprint Long sleeve is a study in precision and architectural foundation. In the design world, a blueprint is the essential first step before a single brick is laid; this garment serves as the essential first layer for the modern wardrobe. The design features a complex, fine-line technical grid printed across the shoulder blades, mimicking the aesthetics of drafting paper. On the left wrist, we’ve placed a subtle ‘calibration’ graphical series of millimeter markers that add a touch of technical utility. This piece is for the creators who appreciate the invisible work that goes into building something great.
Engineering the Perfect Layer
Long-sleeves often suffer from ‘cuff fatigue,’ where the sleeves lose their elasticity and start to sag after just a few hours of wear. To solve this, we developed a high-retention ribbed cuff using a specific blend of organic cotton and 5% recycled spandex. This ensures that whether you push your sleeves up to work or wear them down, they maintain their original shape indefinitely. The silhouette is a ‘Refined Standard,’ tailored slightly through the torso to allow it to be worn comfortably under a jacket or overshirt without any awkward bunching of fabric.
Material Science
We utilized a 220 GSM organic cotton jersey for this project. This mid-weight weave is dense enough to be opaque but light enough to breathe in climate-controlled indoor environments. The ‘Blueprint’ grid on the back is printed using a specialized matte-reflective ink. In normal light, it looks like a subtle grey; under direct light, it glows with a sharp, technical brilliance. Every Blueprint long sleeve features a ‘Taped Neck’ and shoulder-to-shoulder reinforcement, preventing the garment from stretching out after repeated washes.
