Description
The Vision
Asymmetrical Precision
The Vector Longsleeve is a project centered on the concept of directed force. In mathematics, a vector has both magnitude and direction; in design, we?ve translated this into a striking diagonal cut-and-sew construction. The shirt is split into two panels of tonal grey, joined by a structural flat-lock seam that runs diagonally from the right shoulder to the left hip. This is not a print, but a physical reconstruction of the garment, offering a level of artisanal detail that is rare in contemporary streetwear. It is a piece for those who appreciate the technical labor of pattern-making.
Geometric Fit and Feel
By utilizing a cut-and-sew method, we?ve managed to manipulate the way the fabric drapes across the torso. The diagonal seam acts as a structural anchor, preventing the shirt from twisting or losing its shape after long hours of wear. The sleeves are finished with a ‘thumbhole’ cuff?a nod to technical performance gear?allowing the sleeves to extend over the hands for added warmth and a sleek, streamlined look. The fabric is a high-density $240 GSM$ organic cotton that feels substantial and premium against the skin.
Sustainability and Craft
Every Vector project is hand-assembled to ensure the diagonal seams align perfectly at the side-stitch. We use a reinforced ‘Stay-Tape’ along the interior of the split to ensure the seam never puckers or pulls. Both panels are sourced from the same sustainable mill in Portugal to ensure consistent texture and aging. This is a garment designed to be a centerpiece of a minimalist wardrobe, providing visual complexity through construction rather than loud branding.
